The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) communicated, in a press briefing, the preliminary balance on the totalization of the results of the early parliamentary elections of July 11, 2021.
Thus, according to preliminary data, the turnout in the July 11 elections was 1,477,574 voters, which represents 48.41% of the total number of voters included in the electoral lists.
Voters profile:
7.36% - are between 18 and 25 years old;
23.70% - 26-40 years old,
24.70% - 41-55 years,
33.16% - 56-70 years and
11.07% represent the electorate over the age of 71.
Out of the total number of voters present at the polls yesterday, the gender composition is as follows: 54.35% are women and 45.65% are men.
By this time, 99.86 percent of the minutes drawn up by the polling stations had been processed.
According to preliminary information, the results obtained by the electoral competitors are the following:
Political Party Building Europe at Home Party "PACE" - 1.28%;
Political Party "Joint Action Party - Civic Congress" - 0.77%;
"RENATO USATII" electoral bloc - 4.1%;
„Șor” Political Party - 5.75%;
Political Party „Action and Solidarity Party” - 52.72%;
Electoral bloc of Communists and Socialists - 27.24%;
The movement of Professionals "Speranţa - Надежда" -0.19%;
Democratic Party of Moldova - 1.81%;
Political Party "Dignity and Truth Platform" - 2.33%;
Political Party "National Unity Party" - 0.45%;
Political Party "Democracy at Home" - 1.45%;
"NOI" Political Party - 0.1%;
Political Party "Party for the Development and Consolidation of Moldova" - 0.43%;
Political Party ALLIANCE FOR THE UNION OF ROMANIANS - 0.49%;

In accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Code, the minimum representation threshold is the following percentage of the valid votes cast in the country as a whole:
• for a party or other social-political organization - 5 percent;
• for an electoral bloc - 7 percent;
• for an independent candidate - 2 percent.
