The CEC has decided to organize polling stations for voters from the localities on the left bank of Nistru river (Transnistria), Bender metropolitan area and some localities of Căușeni district

For citizens with the right to vote from the localities on the left bank of Nistru river (Transnistria), Bender metropolitan and some localities of Căușeni district, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has decided to organize 44 polling stations for the early parliamentary elections of July 11, 2021. Thus, the Electoral Council of the electoral district for localities on the left bank of Nistru river no. 37 shall represent the polling stations and their electoral offices.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs, as per its duties under the Electoral Code, shall take all necessary measures to maintain public order in the localities where these polling stations are located.

In order to guarantee the security of the voting process at the polling stations in the localities located in the Security Zone, the CEC calls on the national and international observers and the Unified Control Commission to monitor the peaceful conduct of the electoral process.

It should be mentioned that, according to official data from the State Registry of Voters, more than 258 thousand citizens with the right to vote are registered in the administrative-territorial units on the left bank of Nistru river that are temporarily outside the sovereign control of the constitutional authorities of the Republic of Moldova.
