Central Electoral Commission has started printing out ballot papers for the early parliamentary elections of July 11, 2021. 3,644,642 ballots will be printed in total.
The first to be printed out are the ballot papers that will be distributed to the polling stations opened abroad. 726,700 ballots will be received by the 150 polling stations from abroad of which 662,600 in Romanian and 64,100 in Russian.
The ballot papers will be printed on opaque (matte) smoked gray paper and will be 580 mm long and 140 mm wide.
The price of one ballot is 0.18 MDL, thus the total cost of the ballot papers makes up 656,035 MDL.
