Central Electoral Commission reminds that voters who want to vote at their place of stay on presidential elections of 1 November 2020 can declare their new place of residence until 1 October inclusive.

In order to be able to vote at a polling station other than the one according to the valid domicile or residence, the voter shall personally submit a statement, together with a copy of the identity card, to the local public administration authority of the locality where he/she wishes to vote. Please note that when submitting the statement, the voter shall present the valid identity card to confirm his/her identity.

This procedure allows the voter to be registered in the main voters’ list of the polling station according to the declared place of stay and to be able to exercise his/her right to vote at the respective polling station.

Furthermore, please note that the statements submitted for the previous elections are no longer valid.
