During the today’s meeting, Central Electoral Commission decided on special working hours for polling station No 1/307 in Baku, Azerbaijan and polling station No 1/342 in Strasbourg, France.

The polling station No 1/307 (Baku, Azerbaijan) will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. You may recall that previously the Azerbaijani authorities declared martial law due to the Armenian–Azerbaijani military conflict, which implies a curfew in a number of cities, including Baku.

The polling station No 1/342 (Strasbourg, France) will work from 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. In this case the French authorities have extended internal travel restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 pandemic, which will be in force also for 15 November 2020.

The special working hours set for the two polling stations were determined by the need to ensure maximum safety – both for voters and for members of the election committee who will need to tabulate the elections results and get back home within the permitted hours.

The task of informing voters of the special working hours is assigned to the Ministry of External Affairs and European Integration and electoral bureaus of the polling stations No 1/307 in Baku, Azerbaijan and No 1/342 in Strasbourg, France.
